Day 5 - 5km

Day 5 #lapsforlife
Huge day of swimming today.
We had early risers, morning socalisers, onshore supporters, late morning soloists, and afternoon with families. Did I miss anyone?
5km swam plus 4 dippers

Day 4 - 6km

A beautiful sunrise swim at the pool, another nice swim in the bay with the group meeting a late solo swimmer. 

Day 3 - 6.3km

Day 3 - #lapsforlife
The team managed an incredible 6.3km.
Sandy and Cherie Lee swam 2.3km at the pool, Carole, Lynda and Milly swam 3km in the bay during the morning and Penny swam 1km in a rather windy bay in the afternoon. 
Keep going all, doing so well

Day 2 - 4km

Laura, Milly, Caro and Julie swam in the Bay clocking another 4km for the team.
Weather was cloudy but calm with a breeze picking up during the swim.

Day 1 - 5km

Day 1 of the #lapsforlife challenge and as a team we have swum 5km.
Sandy and Cherie-Lee swam at the Strath pool, while Milly, Carole and Penny swam at Clayton Bay in the morning and Laura swam in the afternoon.

We’re swimming to save lives

Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?

That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.

This March, we’re swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.

By sponsoring our challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.

All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.
