I was a teenager and young person that needed ReachOut's support

  • This is my first year diving

  • in for youth mental health

I'm swimming in Laps for Life for a few reasons - to get fitter, to have fun with my friends, and to challenge myself to do something new. I am not a natural swimmer, nor am I very fit, so this will not be easy for me! 

It is particularly important to me to support ReachOut, as I was a teenager who directly benefited from their support services in several times of crisis.  

I will be giving this challenge a red hot shot. I hope to raise a bit of money, but also to encourage my friends and family to talk about mental health and build stronger support networks for each other. ReachOut do great work with young people.
