Why I swim
Every year, my mate Lee spends the month of March swimming as many kilometers as she is old, to raise money for kids mental health. Last year she swam 44ks in one month. Yeah. I don't know how she does it either. This year, breast cancer has gotten in the way of those plans as Lee is currently going through chemo. So she reached out to her village and asked if we would swim some laps for her. So here I am - having not swum laps for... look, it's been a VERY long time. Wish me luck as part of Lee's team, aptly called "it take a village"! If you can, a donation to support Laps for Life help support youth mental health would be greatly appreciated.
