Over the past two years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the support of so many wonderful people – my family, friends, and even those I’ve met along the way in the pool. That support has meant everything to me 🥰

I know that sometimes it can feel like we’re not in a position to donate – whether because we’ve supported other causes, or we’re struggling ourselves, financially, mentally, or physically. Believe me, I understand that feeling; I’ve been there too.

But if you’re able to contribute, even a little, please know that every single dollar makes a difference. It truly does.

Why do I do this each year? Part of it might be personal – proving to myself that I can push through, staying fit, and finding peace in the water. But mostly, it’s about knowing that what I’m doing can help. 

While I still can, I want to do my part.

You’ve heard the heartbreaking statistics before: suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia. Every year, more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer. 

**This is preventable. These young people CAN be happy, healthy and live fulfilling lives, where they love, are loved, and are safe**

This March, I am again swiming to ensure young Australians get the mental health support they urgently need. By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be directly helping to prevent youth suicide and giving young people hope for a brighter tomorrow, no matter what they’re facing today.
