Why I swim

I’m swimming this March because too many young lives are lost to suicide. Every lap I swim will help make sure there’s a safe place for young people to turn when life feels overwhelming.

Swimmer
And I'm swimming to acknowledge and honour all the other brother's and sister's that also never got a chance to truly live a full life due to suicide.I want every young person to know "You are Amazing" , You Are loved and valued and needed here. You have so much to give to this world, we need you. Please know I'm swimming  specifically for you, pushing through a neurological condition I have that will leave struggling to walk  after swimming and every single one of you are worth it. I lost my only baby brother at 15 and I don't want you to feel like life has nothing for you or that nobody cares because I DO. Im swimming to save lives, this could be your children's lives, your grandkids, nieces and nephews, neighbours, your kids class mates. Every young person deserves to be supported, loved, given hope and feel valued and  know that they are not alone in there struggles.AND be able to see that they CAN have a future, filled with hope and life and happiness and friendships and stability and safety and ease. Please pledge a donation and let's unite to show our youth how much we love them, how much we value them in our lives, in our communities, and in our futures. 💜🙏💜🏊‍♀️✨💜🙏💜✨🏊‍♀️💜🙏✨ Thankyou so much for your generosity and compassion.Together we CAN make a difference.💥
