Why I swim
I'm taking on the Laps for Life challenge this March, swimming 30 kilometres to help ReachOut to save lives. Too many people struggle in silence, face stigma and discrimination, and suffer shame and isolation, and I want to be part of something that actually makes a difference. Every stroke I swim and every dollar you donate will help young people find hope, strength, and support through ReachOut. This means a lot to me, and any support, donation, or share truly makes a difference. Every little ripple counts!
I'm swimming to save lives
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
I’m taking part in Laps for Life to make sure these vital services are always there. Please if you can, donate to my fundraiser and help more young people get the support they deserve.

I’m truly blown away!
You guys are all so awesome! I am absolutely blown away by the support I have received so far for this little swim I’m doing throughout March, and we’ve only just begun! I had initially set my fundraising goal far lower than we have already reached, you have all blown it out of the water!! I am so very grateful to each and every one of you. ReachOut does amazing work supporting Australia’s youth with mental health services, it truly is such a worthwhile cause and so deserving of our help. Thank you all so much, you’re all legends!
