"Brother's connection!", this is the Tagline that connects me with my sister, my partner in crime for this new adventure.

W
e both come from a loving family, and despite the physical distance between us today, by my parents still living in Colombia while we both are in Australia, we manage to always be connected.

Since we were little, they inspired our love for the water. For years, every Sunday my parents took us to the pool for our swimming lessons and quickly became another special bond amongst us.

As an adult I must confess that it's been a while since my last swim, so I have found in Laps for Life the opportunity for increasing the meaning of jumping in the water again, not only for my own wellbeing, but others' too.

The swimming pool is my safe zone, and I would like to bring that strength and inspiration to the youth, by proudly accepting this challenge with my sister as my teammate; every life matters and we want to share that spirit and inspire those who may need it too.

We are Tide and Tempo, and soon more stories will come. So, I hope that you, while still reading this warmup text, can also be part of this journey, by sharing this page, making your donations, and why not: jumping in the water too!
