I am unable to work at the moment due to health concerns, having been diagnosed with Arnold Chiari 1 Malformation at the age of 54 i am now 61i spend most days alone and feel very isolated, I started swimming in January not only for my mental health my physical health so i am doing this exercise to improve my own well being , while scrolling through Facebook i noticed the laps for life fund raising event through out March so I trained all through Febuary 2026. I am fully aware that many of our Aboriginal youth take their own life through suicide every day. I have a family member who was 14 years old back in the 1996 new years Eve she was put on life support but she was brain dead her organs were donated to 5 recipients. also a very dear friend of mine lost her daughter who was 25 to suicide and my Sons brother inlaw also took his own life at 37, i realise how devastating this is for all concerned 😟. if I can raise funds for REACH OUT to help our young people to stop them from leaving us i will do it, but most importantly is raising awareness about REACH OUT, hopefully reaching far and wide to encourage our people to reach out and speak up when life becomes just too difficult to bear. our youth need to know they care , they listen they hear you and can support you in unravelling what's going on in your mind your heart and your soul nothing is ever that big every thing can be overcome we all get over whelmed, fatigued, sad , angry, upset and challenged at times, you just need to tell your story "what's hurting you", why are you feeling lost, alone , unloved,. who is bullying you, who is sexually abusing you there is amazing support out there, you just need to speak up, no mountain is too hard to climb there is always a way forward we just need to find a way call REACH OUT. please support my fund raising so we can change perspectives together 1 person at a time raising awareness 💙 ❤️ OUR LIVES MATTER
