Why I swim
I am swimming this march because I know the mental gymnastics of being a young person can be overwhelming and exhausting; I will swim to make sure young people know they aren’t alone in this world, there are people who care about them and that things will get better
I'm swimming to save lives
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
I’m taking part in Laps for Life to make sure these vital services are always there. Please donate to my fundraiser and help more young people get the support they deserve.

My Updates
First day down!
I just wanted to share one of the reasons I wanted to do this; I am the oldest of 5 children by 12 years! quite the age gap between me and my siblings. I am doing this for them in my on every swim I make this month; I have battled many mental health challenges in the past and on the eve of turning 25 this year I thought I’d leave something behind that the struggling 16 year old could appreciate and to show my siblings you can do anything you put your mind to ❤️ Share
Thank you to my
