Why I swim
Laps for Lives – One Breath, One Lap, One Life at a Time This fundraiser is close to my heart. I’m taking on Laps for Lives by combining my love for freediving and swim training to raise funds for youth mental health support. Mental health struggles don’t always look obvious. They don’t always show on the surface. Just like diving, sometimes the hardest part is what’s happening beneath it all. Every lap I swim, every depth I dive, and every breath I hold, I push through is a reminder that resilience is built one effort at a time. Youth mental health services provide early intervention, connection, and hope when it’s needed most. This fundraiser is about backing those services and letting young people know they’re not alone. I’ll be training on weeknights, putting in the laps, and challenging myself physically and mentally to make a real impact. If my effort can help even one young person feel supported, heard, or safe, then every lap is worth it. If you’re able to donate, share, or even just cheer this on, it means more than you know. Together, we can turn laps into lives changed. Thank you for supporting Laps for Lives 💙
