Years I have looked after family members without any thought to my own health and well-being. Ive walked 60km for women's cancer, I've done other fundraising adventures. Then I stopped due to an injury to my back. I was on strong pain killers for 11 years to help me get through the day. In December something snapped and I didn't want to take them anymore. I stopped cold turkey. That's when I found swimming. it helps with my anxiety, helps with my pain, helps with my mental health. so if I can help raise money for a worthy cause then I'll try to help.
