Why I swim
Hi I am James! 🌊 I am diving straight into the Laps for Life challenge to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health. Mental health is incredibly important to me and this swim is dedicated to supporting our young people while also continuing to nurture my own inner self healing. 💙 I have been swimming since the start of this year down at the Darwin Waterfront Lagoon. Getting in the saltwater where each lap is 400m has been amazing for my physical movement and my mind. I actually just wrapped up my very first fitness challenge where I swam 14km for the Starlight Foundation Super Swim this February! It has been so incredibly good for my body that I have not even had to see my chiro since last year. 🙌 The water has become a massive part of my daily routine so jumping right into this next challenge to support the youth was an easy yes. Please consider donating to my page to help support young people who are struggling. Every dollar counts and I appreciate your support so much! 🏊♂️✨

My Updates
Superswim done - next laps for.life
I actually did it 🌊🏅 Stepping completely out of my comfort zone on the 5th of January for my first Lagoon Walk and Swim feels like a lifetime ago. On day one I only made it 50m. But by day two I pushed through a full 400m lap! I proved to myself that it is never too late to believe in your own potential. Then I saw the Super Swim challenge for a good cause. I thought to myself that I have never done a fitness challenge before so I am just going to do this, making myself accountable. Looking back now I am so incredibly proud of what I have achieved for the @starlightsuperswim. 🌟 At 41 I am honestly feeling my fittest. I am so deeply grateful for my good health, for everything I have right now, for the incredible places I am yet to go, and most importantly, for choosing to back myself. 💙 A massive thank you again to my amazing donors. We hit exactly $1400 raised and a massive 14kms swam for @starlightsuperswim! I just love the lagoon. It is seriously our best kept secret. I've had a fairly low rest day today as had a 24hr bug, tomorrow is more planning my next move and pampering my pooches Max n Cha 🐾🐕🐩 This Sunday I dive straight into @lapsforlife.aus for mine and youth mental health. Why a next challenge? So I do keep going, stay focused on me, my goals 🏊♂️✨ Follow here - https://www.lapsforlife.com.au/fundraisers/jimboh/laps-for-life-2026 #FitnessFirst #GoodDays #BadDays #AllInOrAllOut #KeepSwimming Share
