Why I swim
I have set the bar high for myself, swim 20km in a month. Why? Because mental health is a real thing in kids and teens, I was nearly a stat at the age of 17 but fortunately for me, my execution was poor. So please support me and my quest to be the next Emma Mckeon or Leisel Jones, or better yet help support our younger generation through this wild and wacky thing called “life” because youth suicide is not okay!! I asked you all to donate to my deadly treadly ride a couple years back, now it is a swim, don’t worry I won’t make it a triathlon, I promise. PLEASE DONATE :)
I'm swimming to save lives
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
I’m taking part in Laps for Life to make sure these vital services are always there. Please donate to my fundraiser and help more young people get the support they deserve.
