5km finished
Yesterday I swam 1.5km, my biggest swim yet. This brings me over the line for my 5km swim goal! A big thanks to my wife, Bingyao, for encouraging me to participate in the challenge. As I swam more frequently, I improved my technique and set personal records in swim pace and endurance. I still have some more swimming sessions in me this month. I'll be stretching my swim goal to 10km! Thank you to everyone who have already donated! There is still time for anyone to donate or participate in the challenge. We’re swimming to save lives
Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?
That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.
This March, we’re swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.
