Why I swim
I’m swimming this March to help raise money to support youth mental health in Australia. I want to help young people to know they have a voice and that they are not alone in what they are going through.
I'm swimming to save lives
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
I’m taking part in Laps for Life to make sure these vital services are always there. Please donate to my fundraiser and help more young people get the support they deserve.

My Updates
Support from lachie and the home stretch
Lachie came to watch me do laps on the last Sunday (29/3). He has been very encouraging the whole time. Share
20km done!
Swam 2km today (27/3) to make the total distance swum reach 20.5km. I’m happy the correct laps total is showing again - 798 laps completed. I’m disappointed that two of my donations didn’t get matched in the double donations event this week since it finished quickly without notifying us. 4.5km to go. On the home stretch. Share
Nearly done - 18.5km out of 25km
I’ve done just over 700 laps out of the equivalent 1000. I’m not sure why it’s only saying 300 and something on the page. Share
