Why I swim
As a former swimmer, the pool has always been a place of focus and clarity for me. Today, as the CEO of Innowell, that focus is dedicated to a different kind of water: helping young people navigate the often-turbulent waves of mental health. I’m thrilled to be leading the Inno-Waves team for Laps for Life this year. At Innowell, our core purpose is to transform mental health care through innovation and measurement-based support. Taking part in this challenge is a natural extension of that mission. We aren’t just building the tools for better mental health; we are diving in head-first to support the incredible work ReachOut does for youth across Australia. My Goal: I’ve dusted off the goggles to help our team reach our $5,000 target. Whether it’s a "stroke of genius" or just getting the laps done, every dollar raised helps ensure that no young person has to tread water alone. Thank you for supporting my swim and the Inno-Waves! Every lap I swim will help make sure there’s a safe place for young people to turn when life feels overwhelming.

Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
