Why I swim
I’m swimming this March because too many young lives are lost to suicide. Most of you who know me will know I love to swim! I am participating in Laps for Life this year and aim to swim 20km in March. Any money raised goes to ReachOut - a well-established organisation who provide anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming. It is a cause close to my heart to ensure young people are given an opportunity to receive helpful support at any time, and especially when life feels particularly tough. With all the recent natural disasters in Victoria, I completely understand the drain on fundraising requests and will be happy for you to cheer me on in spirit.
