Why I swim
I’m swimming this March because I am aware early intervention can have a really positive effect on young people’s lives. I am swimming this March because I understand it is difficult for most young people to express their fears anxieties and confusion let alone come to terms with their internal battles. Too many young lives are broken before they get off the starting blocks because they didn't know where to turn to be heard understood and valued? Too many young lives are lost to suicide they to slipped through the cracks in our support systems and in our awareness. I hope the laps I swim help to raise awareness of the need for young people to be seen heard and uplifted. I hope every lap I swim will help make sure there’s a safe place for young people to turn when life feels overwhelming.

Just for tomorrow fundraising efforts will have twice the power helping ReachOut to support twice as many young people going through tough times.
