Why I swim
I’m swimming this March in honour of beautiful Tahlia and it feels the best way for me to do that right now. Every stoke and lap is to remember her and support others who struggle with living. Too many young lives are lost to suicide. Every lap I swim will help make sure there’s a safe place for young people to turn when life feels overwhelming.

I am off for a swim in honour of Tahlia, it feels like one of the only proactive things I can do right now to continue her legacy and life. She would be so happy to be helping others. This is for her and her family with all my love. Xxxxxxx
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
