Hi everyone,
I’m swimming in March to support, and hopefully raise funds, for young Australians struggling with their mental health
Over the last 3 years I’ve had an ongoing struggle with an undiagnosed physical illness, which has had a monumental affect on my mental health.
The laps for lives really resonated with me & I felt the need to join in. This will be a really tough challenge but I’ll do my best to smash out the meager 2km that I’m committing to. This is a really daunting prospect for me as it will be the most physical activity I’ve done since March 2022, but your donations will go a long way to energize me to getting it done 🤓.
On the awareness side, I believe every Australian should know that suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accident or cancer.
All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.
