Why I swim
This March, I’ll be swimming laps for something that truly matters to me. Too many young lives are being lost to suicide, and that reality hits close to home for so many of us. Every single lap I swim is for the young people who feel overwhelmed, unheard, or alone, and for those who may not know where to turn when life feels like too much. By swimming, I hope to help create and protect safe spaces where young people can reach out, feel supported, and know that their lives matter. This is more than just laps in a pool, it’s about hope, compassion, and showing up for those who need it most. Thank you for your support.

Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
I’m taking part in Laps for Life to make sure these vital services are always there. Please donate to my fundraiser and help more young people get the support they deserve.
