One School Psych. One Teacher. Zero Olympic prospects. Swimming to save lives
We’ve formed The Slow Laners for Laps for Life because we believe mental health support shouldn't have a waitlist. Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia, and 1 in 3 are struggling right now. We’re swapping the staffroom for the slow lane this March to raise vital funds for ReachOut.
We may be the last ones to finish our laps, but we’re determined to help young Australians find a safe place to connect and get help. Every dollar helps—even if it's just to reward our effort of actually putting on a swimsuit (and getting up and into a pool at 5.30am!)
Our Impact
So far We’ve raised $483 to provided 120.8375 young people experiencing mental health difficulties with vital support.
