Why We’re Swimming – Laps for Life

This March, our household "Malibu" is taking part in Laps for Life to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health.

Together, we’re committing to swimming a combined 100 kilometres across the month — 20km each — in support of ReachOut Australia.

ReachOut Australia provides free, trusted and accessible mental health support to young people across the country. Through online resources, peer support and professional information, ReachOut helps young Australians navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, loneliness and feeling overwhelmed — often at the moments they need support most.

Sadly, suicide remains the leading cause of death among young people in Australia. This is a heartbreaking reality, and one of the reasons this cause matters so deeply to us. By taking part in Laps for Life, we’re hoping to do our small part in raising funds, starting conversations, and reminding young people that support is available and they are not alone.

Every donation goes directly towards ReachOut’s work supporting young Australians and creating a future where fewer lives are lost to suicide.

Thank you so much for supporting us, cheering us on, and helping make a difference x x x x x
