40 laps today plus aqua tabata

I started training on friday morning.

Why i am swimming laps for life
I'm back at Early Morning Laps & swimming 2 kms per day during March, for Laps for Life. Bipolar is prevalent in my family & I lost my youngest sister, not through suicide but through something related to Bipolar. There is still such a stigma about any mental illness & I am really sick of it. It is tough enough dealing with a mental illness, without the added pressure of people judging them. I want to raise some money to help & also spread the word that mental illness is not shameful, just like having any other illness isn't shameful. I would like everyone to think about how they would feel, if they were walking in the shoes of someone who has a mental illness.
We’re swimming to save lives
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
More than 1 in 3 are experiencing mental health difficulties, yet over a million are not getting the support they need.
ReachOut provides anonymous, free and 100% online services so young people can find a safe place to connect, share and get help when life feels overwhelming.
We're taking part in Laps for Life to make sure these vital services are always there. Please donate to our fundraiser and help more young people get the support they deserve.
Our Impact
So far We’ve raised $54 to provided 13.53 young people experiencing mental health difficulties with vital support.
