Saving lives, a lap at a time! 🤙🏽
Suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia. Behind that statistic are real people, real families, and stories that too often go unheard. More than 1 in 3 young people are struggling with their mental health, and over a million are navigating that pain without support.
This isn’t just a cause I care about. It’s personal. I have experienced the weight of mental health challenges and know how isolating those moments can be—the exhaustion, the uncertainty, and how hard it is to ask for help or even believe you deserve it. Support can be life-changing. Sometimes it’s the difference between someone staying silent and someone staying alive.
That’s why ReachOut and my own initiative, Pip’s Passion Project (PPP), mean so much to me. Through PPP, I support nonprofits, social enterprises, and community projects that are making a difference. PPP provides tools, guidance, and connection so these organisations can reach more people, share their stories, and have a bigger impact.
We’re taking part in Laps for Life to show young people they are never alone. My sister Cara, my partner Sam, and Cara’s fiancé James are joining me as my incredible teammates. Together, we want vital services to always be there for someone on their hardest day.
If you can donate, it would mean so much. Your support helps ReachOut continue their vital work for young people when they need it most.
