Isabelle Margaret Akes was not only beautiful, she had an inner beauty. Her smile lit up her face and she truly sparkled. She was kind. She LOVED her family (and her Dog). She was gentle and loving and crazy and loud. She was also a force to be reckoned with. She laughed loudly. She spoke loudly. She had loud opinions. She was determined and definitive. When she didn't want to do something her response wasn't no, or no way, it was NO WAY IN AUSTRALIA!
Hence the name of the team her brother and cousins have created in her honour, as her legacy...
No way in Austalia should another brother lose a sister.
No way in Australia should another parent lose a child.
No way in Australia should another cousin lose a cousin, or aunt or uncle and grandmother or grandfather lose a a beautiful young relative that they love.
No way in Australia should another friend suffer the loss of a friend.
No way in Australia should another young person take their life.
If there is ANYTHING that can be done to stop the pain or clear the confusion or support the crisis that young people find themselves dealing with, then it should be done. I won't go into detail, but I always to focus on things like racing and some projects away from work to fill my head, so it doesn't get the chance to wander.
