Turn Laps Into Hope. Keeping Young People Connected.
At Gunyama, community isn’t just an idea — it’s something you feel the moment you walk in. It’s the good mornings at the cafe, the familiar faces at the pool, the quiet encouragement between laps and the friendships that grow over time. This sense of belonging is something young people need now more than ever.
ReachOut helps young Australians find that same feeling of connection in a space that is safe, supportive and completely free. Whether life feels challenging, confusing or just a bit isolating, ReachOut gives young people a place to feel understood and part of something bigger.
The Gunyama Coffee Community is swimming Laps for Life to strengthen these connections. For us, every lap is a way of sharing the belonging we experience here and helping young people across Australia find their own community too.
We’d love you to be part of this. Say hello at the pool, cheer us on, swim a lap with us or donate if you’re able. However you join in, you’re helping build connection, confidence and genuine community for young people who need it.
