I'm swimming to save lives
- This is my first year diving
- in for youth mental health
This March I’m joining my family to swim laps, to honour our son Thomas’s life. Thomas struggled with his mental health, and died far too early. I don’t need to express how difficult it has been since, and if we can prevent one family from having to experience that heartbreak swimming these laps will be worth every km.
Thomas was a swimmer so it only seems apt to raise funds this way.
Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?
That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.
By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.
All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.
