This March, I’m challenging myself to swim to save lives.
Mental health has been something that I have struggled with and learnt so much from for the past few years. The photo that I have shared is from when I was 17, this was the first time I was allowed leave from Nexus after being confined in hospital for 3 months. I was diagnosed with OCD, depression and anxiety following a head injury and have been medicated ever since. The years following have not been smooth sailing, with a couple of hospital stays and bouts of no medication, however my journey has made me a whole lot stronger and has taught me more than I ever could have imagined.My Achievements
