I'm swimming to save lives

Hi, I’m Eadie. I’m 23 years old, I have lost two loved ones to suicide. That is two too many. 

This March, I'm swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.

Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?

That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.

By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.

All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.

$750 exceeded!!

Only yesterday I changed my goal from $500 to $750- now thanks to the generosity, kindness and overwhelming love and support from my friends and family I’m raising my donation goal to $1000! I’m so pumped to swim as many laps as I physically can this March- rain or shine ✨ 

$500 goal exceeded!

Thank you to all of my wonderful friends and family who have donated- we have smashed the $500 goal way before March! I’ve now raised the goal to $750- here’s hoping we can beat that too. 

This means so much to me- every time I get in the water and swim laps I think of my friend Justin and late boyfriend Isaiah. Though my life has moved forward and the grief I carry from their losses is not as heavy- I still carry them with me in my heart. Every time I swim I think of them, I think of my own struggles with mental health, and I think of how wonderful it would be to hopefully raise some money to help even just one person who is battling such a lonely fight. And if by chance that person reads this- it may feel lonely, but you are never alone, just reach out and you’ll see there’s always others who will fight with you, or even just cheer you on.
